James Phillips

James Phillips currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer at Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales since October 2023. Since September 2018, James has held the position of Artistic Director at ShakeItUp Theatre Ltd. Prior experience includes various roles at Barnardo's from October 2017 to October 2023, where James served as Integrated Business Services Programme Director, Head of Change Management, and Senior Manager: Change Programmes. James also worked at PwC as a Senior Associate from September 2012 to September 2017. Academically, James holds the ACA qualification from ICAEW, earned between 2012 and 2015, and a degree in Geography from the University of Oxford, completed in 2012.
