Laurelle Brown

Laurelle Brown is a seasoned professional in training, consultancy, and safeguarding, with extensive experience in leadership roles. As the Founder and CEO of Laurelle Brown Training and Consultancy since May 2017, Laurelle also co-founded KIJIJI, supporting Black Safeguarding Professionals, and serves as a Peer Cadre Reviewer for the VKPP, enhancing police responses to vulnerabilities. Additional contributions include an independent consultancy role for the Lloyds Bank Foundation, trusteeship at the Association of Safeguarding Partners, and involvement as an Associate Trainer at Creative Access. Through various positions in local government and other organizations, Laurelle has actively engaged in improving safeguarding practices for children and adults. Academic qualifications include a PgCert in Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and multiple degrees in Youth and Community Work and Philosophy.
