Mark Powell

Mark Powell is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in cloud strategy, engineering processes, and IT governance, currently serving as the Head of Cloud Platform Technology Strategy at Lloyds Banking Group since November 2009. Powell's leadership encompasses the development and integration of cloud adoption strategies, operational resilience, and enterprise architecture, significantly impacting organizational change across multiple divisions. Prior roles at Lloyds include Head of Cloud Adoption, Head of Platform Evolution, and Engineering Lead for the Insurance & Wealth Division, where Powell established cloud strategies and delivered large-scale regulatory and modernization programs. Previous experience includes serving as Global Chief Architect and Head of IT Strategy and Innovation at Zurich Financial Services.
