Chee Meng Low

Chee Meng Low is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in engineering software solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Lloyd's Register since October 2021, Chee Meng Low focuses on translating LR and IACS-CSR rules into functional software and leading the implementation of numerical solvers for loading analysis. Previous roles include developing a flooding visualization tool at the Hydroinformatics Institute and contributing to the ShipRight software and mooring system dynamic analysis tools at Lloyd's Register. Earlier experience as a Research Engineer involved creating numerical models for cooling tower systems. Chee Meng Low holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, along with a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
