Jan Kranghand

Jan Kranghand is a seasoned professional in the food safety and quality assurance sectors, currently serving as the Global Head of Food Centre of Excellence at LRQA since April 2021, and simultaneously the Global Head of Service Delivery - Customised Assurance at Lloyd's Register since August 2018. Previous roles include Quality & Food Safety Director at Danone Early Life Nutrition, Director Regional QA Asia at METRO Cash & Carry International, and Head of Quality Assurance at METRO Cash & Carry China. Jan has also held leadership positions at Star Farm Consulting Company Ltd., chaired the Global Food Safety Initiative's Global Markets working group, and served on the sector committee of GLOBALGAP. Jan Kranghand's career in quality assurance was supported by an academic background in Food Technology and Processing, having earned a Bachelor's degree from Het Van Hall Instituut.
