David Sher

David Sher has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. David's earliest role was as a Firmware Engineer at VIA Technologies, Inc. where they developed SATA, USB, and Southbridge chipset drives for CE applications. David then moved on to im.tv as a Vice Manager, followed by Project Manager roles at Yam.com and ERA COMMUNICATIONS CO., LTD. In 2015, they became a Judge at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of China. In 2016, they co-founded and became CTO of LnData, INC., a company providing leading big data and cloud computing solutions. In 2018, they took on the role of Teacher at the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of China, as well as Senior Consultant at the Institute for Information Industry of the Republic of China.

David Sher has a background in Computer Science & Information Engineering. David obtained a College degree from National Cheng Kung University and a Master degree from Tamkang University. David also has a number of certifications, including the 2022大專校院資應用服務創新系列委員會錄取書 from 數位發展部數位產業發展署 in November 2022, a Coursera Course Certificate in Machine Learning in November 2016, and a number of Coursera Verified Certificates in Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems: Part 1, R Programming, Reproducible Research, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox in February 2015. David also has a Coursera Certificate in R Programming from December 2014 and an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from December 2018.
