Teresa Ponce de Leão

Teresa Ponce de Leao serves as the President of Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia since January 2009 and also holds the position of Board Member for ADENE - Agência para a Energia and President of the Portuguese Association for Electric Vehicles. In addition, Teresa has been affiliated with LNEG since April 2004, INESC Porto since 1986 as a scientist, and served as Vice-President of the European Energy Research Alliance from 2014 to 2016. Educational achievements include multiple PhDs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Porto and advanced degrees from AESE Business School and the Florence School of Regulation, specializing in Energy Management, Regulation of Utilities, and Business Administration.
