Yiannis Anastasopoulos

Yiannis Anastasopoulos has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Yiannis currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Light & Wonder - iGaming, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at EUROPEAN DYNAMICS for over 14 years. During this time, they took on the role of Technical Manager from April 2016 to November 2021, and prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer from July 2007 to April 2016. Before entering the private sector, Yiannis served in the Hellenic Air Force from June 2006 to June 2007, fulfilling their military service duties.

Yiannis Anastasopoulos began their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from the University of Patras. Yiannis attended this institution from the year 1998 to 2004.

Later, in the year 2004 to 2005, Yiannis pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems at The University of Sheffield.

In addition to their formal education, Yiannis has pursued several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These certifications include:

- Agile Meets Design Thinking, obtained from Coursera in July 2017.

- Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate, obtained from Oracle in December 2014.

- Software testing, Foundation Level, obtained from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in November 2011.
