Adam Coleman

Adam grew up in Jacksonville, FL, and graduated from Florida State University in 2003 with a degree in Finance. After college, he moved up to North Carolina and has been in the finance field ever since. Adam was a personal banker and commercial real estate consultant, and now has spent the last 14 years in the mortgage industry.

As a Senior Mortgage Planner, he uses his broad financial background to take a more comprehensive and holistic approach to mortgage lending to ensure that his clients better understand where mortgage financing fits within their overall financial goals. This is one reason he specializes in working directly with financial advisors and their clients on an ongoing basis, unlike the typical mortgage professional.

Adam also specializes in divorce mortgage planning as a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, helping divorcing clients alongside their divorce team of attorneys, financial advisors, mediators, and coaches to better understand the complexities that divorce can bring to the mortgage lending and home buying process. His role in the planning process helps divorcing homeowners avoid many of the obstacles that frequently occur when early divorce mortgage planning isn’t involved.
