Rafael Pereira

Rafael Pereira has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and consulting. Rafael is currently working as a Software Engineer at Loanboox since 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at Wunderman Thompson Switzerland from 2018 to 2022, where they held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. At Wunderman Thompson Switzerland, Rafael was responsible for solution design, API integrations, CI/CD revamp, tech evangelism, CMS development, chat bot design, and business support.

Before joining Wunderman Thompson Switzerland, Rafael worked at InnoWave Technologies from 2013 to 2018. During their time there, they held the roles of Senior Software Engineer and Team Leader, as well as Software Engineer. Rafael was involved in the development of REST services, architecture design, code quality review, software releases management, and continuous integration and deployment setup.

Earlier in their career, Rafael worked at PT Sistemas de Informação, S.A. in 2012 and 2013 as a Billing Consultant, contributing to the development of telecom billing systems. Rafael also had a role as a Billing Consultant Trainee at the same company from 2012 to 2013, where they participated in projects related to the merge and migration of billing systems.

Rafael's expertise lies in technologies such as .NET, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and various other tools and frameworks related to software development and telecom billing systems.

Rafael Pereira's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at the Universidade do Minho to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering. Rafael successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2011. Following this, Rafael continued their education at the same institution and obtained a post-graduate degree in Computer Engineering, starting in 2011 and currently ongoing.

In addition to their formal education, Rafael has also obtained various certifications. In June 2014, they successfully completed the "MONGODB FOR DBAS" certification provided by MongoDB, Inc. Later that same year, in September 2014, they obtained the "Introduction to Data Science" certification from the University of Washington through Coursera. In November 2014, they also completed the "An Introduction to Financial Accounting" course offered by the University of Pennsylvania on Coursera.

More recently, Rafael attained the "Visual Studio 2013 ALM: Testing Tools" certification from Microsoft in June 2014. In February 2020, they received the "Online DegreeTM on Blockchain" certification from Blockchain Council. The most recent certification on their record is the "Microsoft Azure Developer Associate" achieved in October 2020, offered by Microsoft.
