Michael Wartenberg

Michael Wartenberg has extensive work experience in the field of HR technology, payroll, and HRIS. Michael is currently serving as the Vice President of HR Technology & Payroll at loanDepot since September 2022. Prior to this, they held positions such as Senior Director of HR Technology and Payroll Operations, Director of HRIS & Payroll, SR. Manager of HRIS & Payroll, and Manager of Payroll & HRIS at loanDepot from 2016 to 2022. Before joining loanDepot, Michael worked as the Payroll/Systems Manager at Omnicom from 2013 to 2016. Michael also gained experience as a Payroll Specialist at Oakley from 2010 to 2013, at Tillys from 2007 to 2009, and at Aquatic Bath from 2006 to 2007.

Michael Wartenberg has a diverse education history. Michael studied Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at Saddleback College. Michael then pursued an Associate's degree in Accounting and Business/Management at Irvine Valley College. Later, they obtained a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from ITT Technical Institute. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained various certifications, including those related to automation, workday security, workday financials, workday integrations, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
