Byron Glaspy has worked in various roles since 2011. Byron began as a Supervisor at UPS in 2011, where they were responsible for supervising a group of up to 15 employees, preparing and managing safety procedures, and ensuring operations were organized and logistically efficient. In 2013, they became a Pastor at Treasuring Christ Church. In 2016, they took on a Professor role at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where they taught a collegiate class of 15 members and wrote a syllabus and outlined weekly lectures. In 2017, they became Self-Employed as an Equities Trader. In 2019, they began working as a Software Engineer at Teamworks, and also participated in a Project Shift Software Engineering Fellowship as a Student Programmer. During this fellowship, they gained experience with JavaScript and frameworks/libraries such as, React, React with Redux, Backbone, Bootstrap, Materialize, MongoDB, Mongoose, Express, Passport, Sequelize, Jquery, Ajax, HTML, and CSS. In 2020, they began working as a Software Engineer at LoanWell.com.
Byron Glaspy obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia between 2004 and 2008. Byron then went on to pursue a Master of Arts in Old Testament from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary between 2010 and 2014, and also obtained a Master's degree in Christian Studies from the same institution during this time. Finally, they received their Doctor of Philosophy in Old Testament from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary between 2014 and 2017.
