Michelle Qi

Michelle Qi is a seasoned professional in data engineering and business intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Loblaw Digital since March 2018. In this role, Michelle leads the development of an enterprise-level data engineering and analytic platform, empowering data consumers from data scientists to executives. Previous experience includes serving as a Business Intelligence Team Lead and Developer at Loblaw, where Michelle delivered comprehensive data analytic solutions using Google Cloud Platform technologies. Prior to that, Michelle worked as an Enterprise Data Warehouse Analyst at CAA Club Group, overseeing cross-system data integration projects and implementing reporting services. Michelle's early career includes internships at Broadcom, STMicroelectronics, and OpenText, where skills in system design, hardware testing, and ETL processes were honed. Michelle holds a Master of Management Sciences in Operations Research and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo.
