Daniel Point

Daniel Point serves as Chief of Staff at AFM, Local 802 since August 2022, while also being the Founder of Direct Point Development since January 2014, which specializes in political consulting and fundraising for progressive political campaigns and nonprofits. Previous experience includes roles as Development Associate at The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City and Senior Advisor/Deputy Campaign Director for a U.S. House of Representatives member, managing fundraising efforts and constituent services. Earlier positions include Communications & Marketing Associate at the Greenwich Village - Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, where Daniel advanced advocacy campaigns and produced marketing materials. Daniel Point holds a B.M. in Music with a minor in Social & Public Policy from New York University.
