Marisa Friedman

Marisa Friedman has extensive experience in both higher education and professional representation in the music industry. Since June 2006, Marisa has served as a Senior Business Representative and Music Performance Trust Fund Administrator at Local 802 AFM. Prior to that role, Marisa was an Instructor at Stony Brook University from September 2001 to 2006, teaching courses such as Intro to Sociology and Sociology of Technology, as well as serving as a Research Assistant in the Sociology Department and an Editorial Assistant for the International Sociology journal between 2002 and 2004. Marisa holds an MA in Sociology and a BA in History and Sociology, both from Stony Brook University, and graduated from Mount Sinai High School with a Regents High School Diploma.
