Ben Lucas

Ben Lucas has a solid work experience in the banking industry. Ben started their career at RBC Bank in 1999 as a Branch Manager, where they excelled for 6 years. In 2005, they joined Capital Bank as a Business Loan Officer and later moved on to Harrington Bank as an AVP. In 2008, they became an Examiner in Charge, Asset Manager, and Financial Examiner at the North Carolina Commissioner of Banks. Ben'snext role was at BB&T, where they worked as a Commercial Portfolio Risk Officer III from 2011 to 2013. Finally, they joined First Bank in 2013, where they worked their way up to SVP and held various roles such as Credit Officer and Manager of the Small Business Credit Team. Overall, Ben Lucas has extensive experience in credit analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Ben Lucas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University - College of Management between the years 1995 and 1999. Ben then pursued further education and obtained their MBA in Business Management from Campbell University from 2003 to 2005.
