Shawn Luther

Shawn Luther is an accomplished finance and legal professional with extensive experience in nonprofit lending and credit management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) since August 2022, Shawn previously held the position of Senior Director and Credit Officer at Capital Impact Partners from May 2021 to August 2022. With a solid foundation in credit oversight, Shawn was Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Nonprofit Finance Fund from October 2014 to April 2021, and earlier held roles at LISC including Director of Asset Management and Associate General Counsel from July 2000 to October 2014. Shawn began a legal career as an Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP and Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP, contributing to a diverse professional background. Shawn holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
