Simon Walker

Simon Walker is a highly experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at LocalStack since November 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at X2X Media Group from May 2020 to December 2022, including Senior Software Engineer, Squad Lead, and Backend Software Engineer. Simon also contributed to the MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre as a Senior Research Engineer and Advanced Research Engineer from June 2017 to May 2020. Earlier in Simon's career, involvement at the University of Warwick as a PDRA from January 2014 to May 2017 focused on assessing data quality and software development. Simon earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics and a Master of Physics (MPhys) in Physics from the University of Warwick, completing studies in 2013 and 2009, respectively.
