Shelly O’Neill Stoneman

Shelly O'Neill Stoneman serves as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs at Lockheed Martin since August 2023, overseeing all government relations activities for the organization. Previously, Shelly was the Committee Chair for the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services from March 2022 to April 2024, advocating for the integration of women in the U.S. military. Shelly held various leadership roles at BAE Systems, including Senior Vice President of Government Relations, and contributed to national security as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense and Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs during the Obama administration. Shelly's extensive experience is complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Vassar College, a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Additional training includes an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School.
