Jay Boren

Jay Boren has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jay is currently the President of Lock and Lube, an industrial distribution and ecommerce company that sells equipment for machine maintenance and repair. Prior to this, Jay worked as the Manager of Marketplace Operations at TaskRabbit from 2013 to 2014. Before that, they had a brief period of self-employment as a Hopeless Romantic. Jay also had significant experience at Google, where they held multiple positions such as Senior Associate at Google.org, Legal Assistant, and Associate at Google.org. Jay played a key role in managing Google's employee-driven giving program and organized successful campaigns. Additionally, Jay has worked as a Ski Patrolman at Kirkwood and as a Program Assistant at American Retroworks Inc., where they helped establish an electronics recycling facility in Mexico. Jay started their career as an intern at the United Nations in 2005.

Jay Boren earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Latin American Studies from Middlebury College. Jay then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth between 2014 and 2016. Prior to these degrees, Jay attended The Blake School and also participated in the Swiss Semester program, though no specific degrees or fields of study are mentioned for these experiences.
