Derek Mckenzie

Derek McKenzie is an experienced marketing professional with a focus on renewable energy, currently serving as the PR & Marketing Manager at Locogen since December 2017. Previously, Derek held the position of Head of Marketing at VG Energy Ltd from 2015 to July 2016 and has held significant roles in digital consulting and online technology, including Head of Online Consulting at WORK Group plc (2008-2009) and Head of Online Technology at Havas People (2004-2008). Academically, Derek holds a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy Development from Heriot-Watt University (2014-2015) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Stirling (1985-1989), as well as training from the London School of Journalism (2003-2004).
