Sebastian Trotta, CFSE, UL-CASP, CACS

Sebastian Trotta has extensive experience in functional safety engineering and management. Sebastian has a strong background in the development and implementation of safety plans and compliance with industry standards.

Sebastian served as the AV - Director of Safety Engineering at Locomation, Inc., where they managed and mentored the Functional Safety Team. Sebastian was responsible for creating and managing the Safety Plan and ensuring safety compliance through the development of the Safety Case.

Prior to that, Trotta worked at Mangan Inc. as the SIS - Functional Safety Lead Engineer. Their responsibilities included the development of SIS deliverables, participation in hazard analysis studies, and knowledge of end-user standards and work processes.

At ABB, Trotta held multiple roles, including the SIS - Functional Safety Manager and Lead Engineer positions. Sebastian successfully managed and mentored the US Functional Safety Team, developed the Functional Safety Management System, and coordinated certification processes.
