Shyam Prasad

Shyam Prasad has worked as a Software Development Engineer-1 at Locus since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Accubits Technologies Inc as a Software Engineer from October 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they focused on blockchain products such as a P2P cryptocurrency payment platform. Shyam designed and developed the MVP for this platform using Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Firebase. Shyam also implemented caching techniques to improve response times and user experience. Before that, Shyam worked at Paysack - Embedded Finance Platform as a Software Engineer from January 2020 to October 2020. Here, they contributed to the development of a comprehensive Fin-Tech platform and was involved in designing and developing the web frontend and cross-platform mobile application using Angular and Capacitor.js. Shyam also worked as an intern at Paysack from November 2019 to January 2020.

Shyam Prasad received a High School Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from Rani Public School Vadakara in 2013. Following that, from 2013 to 2017, they attended Cochin University of Science and Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Shyam Prasad obtained the MEAN Stack Developer Expert certification from Luminar Technolab in October 2019. Shyam also obtained certifications in Introduction to Big Data and Hadoop from Great Learning in October 2022, Modern React with Redux from Udemy in May 2022, and Learn and Understand NodeJS from Udemy in April 2022.
