Aika N. Sawai

Aika N. Sawai has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Aika started their career as an International Project Coordinator at Green Map System, where they coordinated mapmaking projects and organized conferences. Aika then joined KDDI America as a Product Manager, where they played a key role in the company's MVNO venture and formulated business rules and strategies. Following that, they worked at GREE, Inc. as a Strategic Partnership Account Manager, managing the company's partnership with Apple and facilitating global business alliances. Aika then transitioned to AKQA, where they held different roles, including Account Manager, Project Manager, Operations Director, Executive Director of Delivery & Operations, and Managing Director. In these positions, they oversaw project delivery, managed resources, implemented budget and project management practices, and mentored the staff. Currently, Aika works at Loewe as the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, creating local campaign initiatives, managing content production, and empowering the team.

Aika N. Sawai attended the International School of Bangkok from 1995 to 2001. Following that, they pursued their B.A. at New York University's Gallatin School for Individualized Study from 2001 to 2006. Their concentration during their degree was "Postmodern Theories and Consumerism with Emphasis on Japan."
