Johannes Frey

Johannes Frey is a software engineer with a strong background in cloud applications and platforms, currently working at Loft Labs since February 2024. Prior to this role, Johannes spent six years at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation, where development and operation of a fully managed Kubernetes platform were key responsibilities. Johannes's earlier experience includes positions as a student assistant at HLRS - Höchstleistungsrechenzentrum Stuttgart, internships at M-Way Consulting and Panacoda GmbH focusing on web and app development, and freelance web development work from 2012 to 2015. Educationally, Johannes holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Media and a Bachelor of Engineering in Audiovisuelle Medien from Stuttgart Media University, complemented by a degree in primary education from the University of Kassel.
