Jack Blaisdell

Jack Blaisdell has extensive experience in metallurgical engineering, currently serving as a Process Engineer at Logan Aluminum since May 2016, with work spanning Product Development, Melting/Casting, and Hot Rolling. Previously, Jack held the position of Product Metallurgist at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from August 2012 to May 2016. During an internship at Gerdau Long Steel North America in summer 2015, Jack focused on projects related to Roll Mill and process improvement. Earlier experience includes a Fabrication Internship at McNeilus Steel, Inc., where Jack was involved in drawing and modeling customer parts and quality assurance processes. Jack earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Metallurgical Engineering from South Dakota Mines in 2016 and graduated from Triton High School in 2012.
