Corey Beres has extensive work experience as a software engineer. Corey started their career at Eastman Kodak as a software engineer intern, where they primarily focused on bug fixes and regression tests. Later, they worked as an engineering co-op at ATTO Technology.
Corey then joined Rochester Institute of Technology as a student web developer, where they created and updated web pages and provided assistance to alumni on the alumni network website. During this time, they also worked as a software developer intern in the Computer Engineering department, developing scenarios in Alice and creating a website for hosting learning activities.
Afterwards, Corey worked at MGA Research Co. as a software engineer part-time while pursuing their master's degree. Their responsibilities included developing software for controlling hydraulic cylinders and battery testing.
Corey then worked at Buffalo Intelligent Technology Systems as a software engineer, focusing on C# .NET desktop and ASP.NET web applications driven by MSSQL databases.
Corey then joined Synacor as a software engineer, developing Java REST services and working on a SOA platform consisting of distributed Java services.
Following that, Corey worked at Adiant as a software engineer, where they handled the integration of new partners with Adiant's Real-time Bidding (RTB) Exchange and Bidder using Java and Netty 4.

Corey Beres completed their education at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011. They earned a BS/MS degree in Computer Engineering during this period. Additionally, Corey Beres obtained a certification as a Neo4j Certified Professional from Neo4j in May 2021.
