Kristen Cheman

Kristen’s deep commitment to leadership and forward-leaning approach to developing the digital capabilities drives growth in the digital analytics space. For the past 3 years, Kristen has served as director of LMI’s data operations and enterprise operations subservice lines, focusing on enterprise data management, architecting and operationalizing data analytics environments, and customizing data science training programs for customers.

Kristen came to LMI from Capital One, where she developed machine learning strategies for the bank. She also brings commercial software experience from MathWorks, where she developed marketing strategies, established sponsored research programs with academia, and led predictive modeling competitions. In a prior assignment at Lockheed Martin, Kristen was a member of the rotational assignment Engineering Leadership Development Program for growing technical leaders.

Kristen has earned three math and engineering degrees: a bachelor’s in mathematics from Allegheny College, a master’s in applied mathematics from North Carolina State University, and a master’s in systems engineering from the University of Virginia. She also has a certificate in leadership coaching.
