Daniel Emaasit

Daniel Emaasit has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Daniel is currently the Co-Founder, CEO, and Chief AI Officer at Logistify AI, a position they have held since June 2019. Prior to that, from January 2018 to July 2021, they worked as a Data Scientist at Haystax.

Before entering the industry, Daniel gained research experience as a Ph.D. Research Assistant at the University of Nevada Las Vegas from August 2013 to December 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Research Intern at IBM in June 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Tennessee State University from August 2011 to July 2013 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Dar es Salaam from November 2010 to July 2011.

Daniel Emaasit began their education in 2006 at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil and Transportation Engineering. Daniel successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2010.

To further enhance their knowledge and expertise, Daniel enrolled at Tennessee State University in 2011. Daniel pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil and Transportation Engineering, which they completed in 2013.

In pursuit of higher education, Daniel joined the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2013. There, they achieved their ultimate educational goal of earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Civil and Transportation Engineering. Daniel completed their doctoral studies in 2018.

Throughout their education, Daniel Emaasit focused on their passion for Civil and Transportation Engineering, culminating in their Ph.D. from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
