Jarrod Jemison

Jarrod Jemison has a diverse and extensive work experience in graphic design. Jarrod is currently working as a Brand Designer at Logixboard since 2022. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a Contracted Freelance Designer, producing visual concepts for individuals and corporations. Jarrod started their self-employment in 2009 and there is no specified end date.

In 2016, Jemison joined BiggerPockets as a Brand Manager and Senior Graphic Designer. In this role, they designed all marketing deliverables, created brand standards and style guides, and assisted in strategic planning for advertising, marketing, and content creation. Jemison worked in this position until 2022.

From 2012 to 2016, Jemison worked as a Graphic Designer for both RAGE Fitness and Gibson Athletic. In these roles, they designed visual assets for websites, packaging, trade-shows, events, and catalogs. Jarrod was also responsible for 40% of sales. Additionally, they art directed two commercials for ESPN and worked as a product photographer.

Jemison previously served as a Graphic Design Intern at Alpine Access from November 2011 to March 2012. Here, they assisted in creating brand assets and logos, performed QA for website development, and created targeted design campaigns.

Prior to their freelance work and internships, Jemison was a Graphic Designer in the United States Air Force from August 2005 to August 2009. In this role, they developed informational charts and graphs, built props and backdrops for audiovisual productions, and created designs for various marketing assets including apparel, brochures, and websites.

Jarrod Jemison attended the Community College of the Air Force from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued a field of study and obtained certifications in Art Director and Graphic Designer from The Art Institutes in May 2012. Starting in 2009, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at The Art Institutes, completing the program in 2012.
