Roy Calhoun

Roy Calhoun is an experienced professional with a diverse background in aviation maintenance, project management, and customer service. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at SLO Safe Ride since July 2022, Roy focuses on transporting employees, athletes, students, and families for significant events, including support for the US Military. Roy has held roles in aircraft maintenance with LOGMET LLC and previously worked as a Production Foreman at Texas Site Services and Mechanic Helper at Ameriflight, LLC, managing maintenance activities and supply chain coordination. An accomplished electrician with experience at Gueldner Electric Co., Roy has also served as a Project Manager at Presidio Housing, LLC, addressing barriers in energy solutions. Roy's military background includes significant roles in the Florida Army National Guard and the United States Marine Corps, specializing in aircraft engine mechanics. Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and furthered education at Hallmark University.
