Alexander Zafirov

Alexander Zafirov has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Alexander is currently working as a Lead Engineer at Logpoint since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Data Engineer at LEO Pharma from January 2021 to June 2022. Alexander also served as a Technical Lead at TDC NET from February 2020 to December 2020. Alexander has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Dixa from September 2018 to February 2020. Before that, they worked as a Platform Engineer at Infare Solutions from August 2016 to September 2018, where they gained expertise in heavy data stream and batch workloads. Alexander also worked as a Platform Engineer at Falcon.io from September 2014 to August 2016, where they experienced working in a diverse team and handled software failures and company scaling. Alexander's first software development experience within a team was at WorldTicket A/S, where they worked as a Java Developer from October 2013 to September 2014 and gained experience in scrum, PRs, deployment pipelines, and working with remote colleagues.

Alexander Zafirov earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Informatics from Technical University Sofia in the years 2007 to 2011. Alexander then continued their education at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degrees, Zafirov has completed various online certifications, including courses in Python, data science, Scala, and machine learning.
