Barak Merimovich

Barak Merimovich is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Chief Architect and Head of Architecture at Logz.io since January 2020, Barak previously worked at Facebook, focusing on distributed server clusters, and held several leadership roles at GigaSpaces Technologies, including VP R&D, where management of diverse development teams and cloud orchestration systems was key. Earlier roles at OpenTV involved directing technical solutions for product integrations and optimizing performance for high-transaction systems. Barak’s technical foundation includes software engineering positions at Harmonic and military service as an RF Technician. Barak holds both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
