Maximilian Romero

Maximiliano M. Romero, CFA, FRM, currently serves as the Head of ALM at Ualá since August 2023. Prior to this role, Maximiliano held various positions at BBVA en Argentina from September 2016 to August 2023, including ALM Treasury and Trader for Portfolio Management at BBVA Seguros. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Product Controller at HSBC Bank Argentina, focusing on Fixed-Income, BSM, and IR Derivatives from April 2014 to September 2016, and roles as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst in Structured Products at CRISIL Global Research & Analytics between May 2011 and April 2014. Maximiliano began their career as a Tendering Analyst at Universidad Nacional de Cuyo from May 2009 to June 2010. Educational qualifications include the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) credential, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, alongside other specialized finance training.
