Takeyce Mais

Takeyce Mais is a TEFL certified ESL teacher with a diverse teaching portfolio that spans online instruction to professional adults and children globally since February 2013 at LOI English, as well as various academies in Spain from 2006 to 2012. Takeyce specializes in Business and General English, interview preparation, and exam preparations for IELTS, TOEFL, PET, CAE, and FCE. In addition to teaching, Takeyce has an extensive background in music as a singer and songwriter, having performed professionally in competitions and various groups across Jamaica, North America, Europe, and Costa Rica since childhood. Prior to entering the education sector, Takeyce worked as a computer programmer at Statistics Canada between 2001 and 2008, focusing on operations research and development, and held the position of Programmer Analyst Instructor at CDI College from 2000 to 2002. Takeyce holds a degree in Programmer Analyst with Honours from CDI College of Business and Technology and a Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma with Honours from the Toronto School of Business.
