Michael Dries

Michael Dries is an experienced risk management professional with a strong background in finance and risk control. Currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Risk Management at Lombard Odier (Europe) S.A. since July 2018, Michael previously held the position of CRO and Head of Risk Control at SEB Luxembourg S.A., where responsibilities included managing various risk domains such as market, credit, and operational risk. Prior experience includes senior risk management roles at Credit Suisse (Luxembourg) S.A. and Clearstream, along with a leadership position in custody operations at MUFG. Michael holds qualifications from Université de Namur and the University of Luxembourg, as well as a Risk Manager Certification from IFBL/ALRIM.
