John Muir

John Muir currently serves as Head of Community Partnerships for the London Borough of Camden since October 2021. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at Islington Council, including Head of Communities, overseeing community development and managing a staff team and substantial budgets. John has extensive experience in the voluntary sector and community cohesion, having managed large grant programmes and community initiatives. Previous roles include Programme Director at Youthpolicy.org, where John coordinated public policy reviews and worked with international civil society organizations. Johns' educational background includes a master's degree in Public Sector Management and Leadership from the University of Warwick and a forthcoming postgraduate certificate in Philanthropy, Grantmaking and Social Investment from Bayes Business School.
