Kurt Erik Lindqvist

Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" Lindqvist, EMBA has an extensive and diverse work experience in the field of internet technology and networking. Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" served as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of LINX (The London Internet Exchange) from September 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Director from May 2018 to September 2019, and served as the CMO from March 2016 to September 2019.

In addition to their roles at LINX, Kurtis Lindqvist founded and owned Internet Technology Advisors, a private consulting firm specializing in network architecture, education, training sessions, and solution workshops. Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" started this venture in June 2002.

Kurtis has also been actively involved in various organizations and committees related to internet technology. Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" served as the Chairman of the Board for Euro-IX since 2004, playing a key role in its transition to an independent organization. Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" has also been a member of the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) and participated in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) as a Working Group Co-Chair.

Furthermore, they have held positions such as WG-chair for RIPE and CEO of Netnod, where they played a crucial role in its growth from a local Internet Exchange to one of the largest European IXs. Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" was also a member of the Nominating Committee for the Board of Trustees for the Internet Society.

Kurtis Lindqvist has contributed to the development and advancement of internet technology through their extensive experience and leadership roles in various organizations.

Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" Lindqvist, EMBA, has a diverse education history. Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from IMD Business School, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, from 2015 to 2018. During the same period, they also earned a PED Diploma from IMD.

Earlier in their education journey, Kurtis attended Uppsala University from 1994 to 1996, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, they completed their Gymnasieexamen (high school diploma) from Ålands gymnasium between 1990 and 1993.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kurtis has acquired several additional certifications. Some notable certifications include "Att leda en ledningsgrupp" from Di Akademi in November 2022, "High Performance Leadership" from IMD in March 2022, and "Mastering Board Governance" from IMD Business School in December 2021. Kurt-Erik "Kurtis" also completed the "FT Non-Executive Director Programme - The Effective Non-Executive Director" from FT Non-Executive Director Programme in October 2018. Before that, they obtained their EMBA degree from IMD Business School in June 2018. Furthermore, they completed the course "Introduction to Financial Accounting" from Coursera in April 2017.
