Paul Beniston

Paul Beniston is an accomplished musician with extensive experience in the brass music field. Since September 1994, Paul has served as the Principal Trumpet for the London Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to this role, Paul has been a Professor of Trumpet at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama since September 1999 and at the Royal Academy of Music since September 2011. Previously, Paul held a professorship at the Royal College of Music from September 1995 to July 2011 and was the Principal Trumpet for the English National Opera from February 1989 to June 1993. Paul's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Bristol, completed between 1984 and 1987, as well as attendance at Rainham Mark Grammar School from 1977 to 1984.
