Peter Swordy

Peter Swordy has extensive experience in various roles related to operations, safety, and management in the sports and events industry. Peter has held positions such as Director of Health, Safety and Compliance at London Stadium, Director at Centrespot Consulting Limited, Operations Director at Crystal Palace Football Club, and Head of Operations at Norwich City. Peter has also worked as a Director & Consultant at Centrespot Consulting Limited, Spectator Venues & Events Safety Cluster Manager at Glasgow 2014 Limited, Head of Centre of Excellence & Senior Operations Manager at Wembley National Stadium Limited, and Head of HR at Wembley Stadium. Additionally, they have worked at Canary Wharf Group as Deputy Personnel Manager and at London Docklands Development Corporation as a Senior Personnel Officer and Senior Personnel Manager.

Peter Swordy obtained a Diploma in Management Studies from London South Bank University from 1989 to 1991. Peter then pursued a Masters (Distinction) in Public Service Management from the same university from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed a BA Hons in English Literature at Middlesex University from 1981 to 1984. Peter also holds additional certifications, including an NVQ4 Spectator Safety from Integer/Edexcel (2010-2012), membership in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development CIPD (1997-1998), a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety from Santia (2011), and A Levels in Law, English, and History from Basildon College of Further Education (1979-1981). Peter has additional certifications such as Conflict Management and Personal Safety from Maybo, an MSyl from The Security Institute, Door Supervisor from the Security Industry Authority, Associate from the Centre for the Modern Environment - IWFM Training, and Tech IOSH from IOSH.
