Francisco Paz Chinchon

Francisco Paz Chinchon, PhD, is a seasoned professional in data engineering and software development, currently serving as a Senior Python Developer in the Data & Analytics department at London Stock Exchange Group since September 2024. Prior to this role, Francisco worked as a Data Engineer II at Mastercard Data & Services from November 2022 to August 2024 and as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, contributing to the 4-metre Multi-Object Spectroscopic Telescope (4MOST) project. Francisco also has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, where expertise in managing and analyzing data from the Dark Energy Survey was developed. Additional teaching experience includes positions as an Assistant Professor at Universidad Catolica del Norte and as a Teaching Assistant at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte.
