Jocelin Padilla serves as a Community Information Officer for the City of Long Beach since August 2024 and has been the Manager of Customer and Community Relations at Long Beach Transit since January 2020, where targeted programs for engaging diverse communities are developed. Prior experience includes over seven years at the Port of Long Beach, where as Senior Communications Specialist, Jocelin conducted extensive research for the Board of Harbor Commissioners and managed community relations efforts, including overseeing an award-winning community tour program. Earlier experience at Nordstrom included the role of Assistant Customer Service Manager, focusing on customer service operations and team development at a high-volume store. Jocelin holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business with an Emphasis in Italian from California State University, Long Beach.
