Shana Young

Shana Young is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Senior Coordinator of Experiential Education at Long Island University since December 2015 and as the Pharmacy Experience Associate Team Lead at Capsule since August 2019. Previously, Shana held various roles, including Adjunct Continuing Education Teacher at York College and Pharmacy Benefits Manager at the closed Health Republic Insurance of New York. Shana's background includes significant experience in pharmacy management, process improvement utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles, and educational coordination within pharmacy programs. Shana also has a solid foundation in training and compliance, having worked as a District Training Specialist at Rite Aid. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Services at Long Island University, Shana combines healthcare expertise with educational leadership.
