Lori Aguilar

Director Of Office Of Innovation at LONGVIEW ISD

Lori Aguilar currently serves as the Director of the Office of Innovation and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Longview ISD, where employment began in November 2021. Prior roles include Coordinator of School Success at Longview ISD and Interim Principal at Howry STEAM Academy/Effie Morris Elementary until December 2021. From July 2017 to February 2020, Lori held dual roles at Lake Worth ISD as the District EL/World Languages Coordinator and Assessment & Accountability Coordinator, and previously as Principal and Assistant Principal at Corsicana ISD. Early in the career, Lori taught 1st grade at Ennis ISD from 1995 to 2012. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Tyler and two Master’s degrees in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction from Lamar University and Texas A&M University-Commerce, respectively. Currently, Lori is pursuing a doctoral degree at Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
