Joakim Ekberg

Joakim Ekberg has a diverse work experience in various roles as a software engineer and advisor. Joakim worked as a Software Engineer at Lookback in 2020 and as a Contract Software Engineer at Joakim Ekberg AB since 2016. Joakim also co-founded Frilansare Sverige in 2019 and worked as a Co-Founder. From 2018 to 2022, they were an Advisor at It's Re:Leased. Additionally, they held positions as an Engineering Lead at Alight in 2020, a Software Engineer at Northvolt from 2019 to 2020, and a CTO at Freya from 2018 to 2019. In previous roles, they worked as a Software Engineer at Klarna in 2018, untangled a monolith web application into a new SPA and a new API at Epidemic Sound from 2017 to 2018, and as a Software Engineer at Enjo from 2017 to 2017. Throughout their career, they have displayed expertise in software engineering, coaching junior developers, and delivering great user experiences.

Joakim Ekberg pursued their education in the field of Computer Science from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they attended the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and successfully completed their MSc degree.
