Labib Assaf

Labib Assaf has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IT and security. Labib is currently working as a Technical & Security Engineer at LOOMIS PAY since January 2022. Prior to this, Labib worked as a Security Consultant at LTI - Larsen & Toubro Infotech from June 2020 to January 2022.

Labib's earlier experience includes working as an IT Technical Manager at United Cooperative Assurance UCA from January 2009 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the evaluation, deployment, and administration of Information Technology software, hardware, and network systems. Labib also designed new innovative systems and ensured business continuity with server monitoring, storage, backup/recovery, and IP telephony systems.

Before that, Labib worked as a Network Administrator at United Commercial Agencies - Saudi Arabia from January 2000 to December 2008. In this role, they provided full support, configuration, and maintenance of the company's network. Labib also implemented network policies and procedures, monitored network performance, and implemented various solutions such as DR site using Express Cluster, MPLS connectivity for branches, AD implementation, and Fault Tolerance Server.

Labib Assaf obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Damascus University, where they studied from 1990 to 1996. In 2019, they attended Järfälla Läräcentrum to study the Swedish Language. Apart from their formal education, Labib has also earned various certifications. Some of their certifications include becoming a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) through LinkedIn in October 2021, completing an Accredited Agile Project Management Course from ITProTV in May 2020, obtaining a DCOM Certified (Data Center Operation Manager) certification from Capitoline Data Centre Consultants in April 2020, and completing a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) online course from Udemy in February 2020. Labib also holds certifications in Leadership Foundations, Problem Solving Techniques, Creating a Security Awareness Program, IoT Foundations, Implementing an Information Security Program, and Swedish Language Level D. Additionally, Labib has certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA1: Windows Server 2003, MCSE1: Windows Server 2003, MCTS: SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance, MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional. Labib obtained these Microsoft certifications between 2006 and 2013. Labib also holds an ITIL Foundation certification obtained in June 2012.
