Tianyuan Guan

Tianyuan Guan has a diverse work experience. They currently work as an Associate General Counsel at Loomis, Sayles & Company since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Foley Hoag LLP from November 2022 to May 2023 as an Associate and from September 2022 to November 2022 as a Law Clerk. They also held the position of Summer Associate at Foley Hoag LLP from May 2021 to July 2021. Before joining Foley Hoag LLP, Tianyuan worked as a Research Assistant for Professor James Cox at Duke University School of Law from September 2020 to February 2021, and as a Research Assistant for Professor Elisabeth de Fontenay from May 2020 to August 2020, focusing on private equity. They also worked as a Research Assistant for the Duke Initiative for Science & Society at Duke University from July 2020 to August 2020, conducting research on laws and regulations related to biometric information of immigrants. Prior to their legal career, they co-founded Jixiang Space International Student Service in May 2015.
