George Skentzos

Head of Marketing & Customer Experience at Loopit

George Skentzos has over twelve years of experience in the automotive industry. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Founding Team Member at CarAdvice.com, Australia's fastest growing automotive editorial site. In 2010, they founded Carmooch, an online social network and marketing platform for the automotive community. From 2010 to 2015, they were the Digital Marketing Manager at Caesarstone Australia, a publicly-traded company present in 42 countries worldwide with annual revenue in excess of $296m per year. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Digital Marketing & Content Manager at Gerard Lighting Pty Ltd, Australia's leading lighting manufacturer and distributor. In 2017, they moved to Head of Marketing & Customer Experience at HelloCars, where they launched Australia's first full-service online car subscription service with an entirely bespoke technology solution developed in-house. In 2019, they joined Loopit.co as Head of Marketing & Customer Experience, where they were part of the senior leadership team responsible for company strategy and go-to-market. George successfully developed and executed the launch of an entirely new brand, including brand development and design, the company website and online presence. George also successfully maintained their responsibilities and targets for HelloCars while launching new growth marketing initiatives including content, cold outreach, CRM automation, PR, webinars, SEO, social media strategy and more. George also launched the Loopit brand internationally into the UK market. During their career, George Skentzos has won numerous awards, including the 2019 Australian Business Awards for CX Innovation, 2019 Australian Business Awards for Digital CX Management, Finder Awards 2018 Best Online Shopping Innovation Winner, Westpac Businesses of Tomorrow 2017 & 2018, Good Design Awards Gold Winner 2018 for Digital Design & Web Development, Good Design Awards Winner 2019 for Digital Design & Web Development, Feefo Gold Trusted Service Award 2018, and Anthill SMART 100 2018.

George Skentzos attended the University of Wollongong from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Information Technology with a field of study in eBusiness.
