Jinwei Zhang

Jinwei Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. Jinwei currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at LoopX.ai, starting in April 2021. Prior to this, Jinwei worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Waterloo Cognitive Autonomous Driving (CogDrive) Lab from September 2018 to August 2020. During this time, they contributed to research projects in the field of autonomous driving. Before that, Jinwei was a Software Developer at NEVA Electromagnetics from May 2015 to August 2015. In this role, they developed image segmentation algorithms, improved CAD objects, and presented their work at an international conference. Overall, Jinwei's work experience demonstrates their expertise in technology and research, making him a valuable asset in their field.

Jinwei Zhang's education history begins in 2014 when they enrolled at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. They pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Robotics Engineering and Electric and Computer Engineering, completing their studies in 2018. In 2016, Zhang participated in an exchange program at HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung, focusing on German Language and Humanity. Following this, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Their education continued at the same institution, where they completed a second Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2021 to 2033.
