Dan Palan

Dan Palan is an experienced production and technical manager with over 18 years in manufacturing, currently serving as Production Manager at Loparex since June 2012. In this role, Dan leads a team of over 100 employees to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demands. Dan has been instrumental in ERP/MES design and implementation, standardizing global manufacturing processes and developing custom dashboards for manufacturing metrics. Previous roles include Technical Manager, Area Manager, and Senior Process Engineer, where Dan drove quality improvements, reduced costs, and enhanced plant throughput. Dan began a career in manufacturing at Powerfilm, Inc., advancing from Machine Operator to Quality Control Manager, and later gained valuable experience as a Process Engineer at Konarka Technologies. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Iowa State University.
